This article is for the second Minirobot in Tiny Defense. For the form of it with a minigun, see Mini-Gunner Bot. For the form with the bazooka, see Bazooka Bot. For the character who can shoot in any direction and only appears in Missions, see Leonid.

Gunner Bot is one of the first Minirobots you find in the Green Fields, and is also the first Minirobot the player can obtain, along with Fusor Bot. It shoots bullets at enemies directly in front of it, dealing a medium amount of damage, and is quite useful even in some later stages. You can deploy one for 20 energy, and because of its medium recharge time, Gunner Bot is a cheap and convenient soldier.

Description

Gunner Bot has a black body with green feet. He wears a green helmet with a brown strap.

In TD2 his helmet has two dark green stripes that go halfway around the helmet. He also wears the new earpiece.

Strategy

Tiny Defense 1

Gunner Bot is the first attack unit the player gets, so it's important to place enough of them to keep the front form falling. They will be the only stable attack unit until the player gets Missiler Bot. Until then, it is important to keep Gunner Bot in your card selection.

Tiny Defense 2

Gunner Bot is the first attack unit the player gets, so it's important to place enough of them to keep the front form falling. In Old Factory, there are Iron Boxes which blocks Gunner Bot's bullets, making it useless compare to Mouse Bot. In Power Plant, many enemies can shoot bullets, as Gunner Bot can only shoot one bullet at a time, it is less useful compare to Ninja Bot which can block more bullets because it can shoot at least two shurikens at a time. In Naval Base, there are nearly no ground or platforms in order to place enough Gunner Bots, making them useless compare to aerial bots, aquatic bots or Missile Bot. In Volcano, the enemies usually have high toughness and damage, making it relatively worse than Glue Bot or bots with high toughness or damage.

Upgrades

Tiny Defense 1

Veteran Gunner - Upgrades the Gunner Bot’s damage output by 50% (2 damage goes to 3)

Tiny Defense 2

  1. Increase toughness by 25%
  2. Increases attack damage by 25%
  3. Increases attack damage by 50%

Other Forms

Some Minirobots have other forms, including Gunner Bot.

Mini-gunner Bot

The Mini-Gunner Bot is a form of Gunner Bot which shoots a minigun. It fires many projectiles.

Bazooka Bot

Bazooka Bot replaces the Mini-Gunner Bot form, due to the Shadow Bot (form of Ninja Bot) acting like that already. It fires rockets which do splash damage and breaks projectiles.
